I'm one of the "grown-up" readers too! I randomly picked up Twilight, read it all at work in one night (I work the graveyard shift), then ran out and picked up the next 2 books... They were both read that day. There's just something about that teenage cheese that I find absolutely fascinating...could explain why I like soap-opera-ish story lines on TV.

I'm looking forward to the movie, but I'm a little worried it's going to be destroyed. Movies are never as good as the books.

yes, the movie always ruins it. I hope it does it justice

Me too. I know from keeping up with the filming since day 1, that things are definitely not the same as the book. They're following the same story-line etc. But the events are shifted and have different results etc. New scenes i believe were put in as well. But Stephenie (authour) signed off on it, she commented that she loved it. Really, taking it from the authour, you've gotta like it

I love this series and can't wait for the movie. Did anyone pick up Stephenie Meyer's new adult novel, The Host? Looks great!

I loved the books - and lost a week of my life reading all three. I couldn't put the dumb things down! It wasn't until my 65 year old male tennis partner asked me if I had read the vampire books that I realized what a huge hit they were - he'd loved them all too.

Nobody said it was an original idea, but Stephenie Meyer takes that storyline and really makes you care for the characters and leaves you wanting more.

I don't think people should criticize a novel until you've read it. So many people were willing to burn the Harry Potter novels, but how many of them actually read them?

I have a friend who is working on the production. He came into my office and said "Did you know that vampires play baseball?"

HAH! If he only knew!

That baseball scene was so fun in the books. I hope they keep it the same in the movie.

I might pick up the Host. I have a camping trip that I need to go on next week and this might be perfect to sit on a canoe and read with.

Oh i know! I'm excited to see how they make the collision and batting noises. I hope they stick as close to the book as possible for not just the entire movie, but that scene in particular lol.

Just have to let you know that the teaser trailer is playing in random movies across the country. My boyfriend and I went to see Prince Caspian today and saw it on the big screen!!! So excited for this movie to come out!!

I went to see Forbidden Kingdom the other day, but i was late so i missed previews. I wonder if they played it.. if they did i should kick myself! Seeing that on the big screen would be amazing!

It was breathtaking!! Just ask my poor boyfriend who's hand I kept gripping and hitting lol I was trying to remain as calm as possible because we were with his parents lol
