TWILIGHT at Comic-Con

The cast of TWILIGHT will be appearing live at the 2008 Comic-Con in San Diego held in July. Scheduled to attend are director Catherine Hardwicke, Kristen Stewart (Bella), Robert Pattinson (Edward), Cam Gigandet (James), Rachelle LaFevre (Victoria), Edi Gathegi (Laurant), Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black) and Stephenie Meyer!* This incredibly talented group will be participating in a panel discussion, autograph signings, and more! TWILIGHT surprises will also be at the Summit Entertainment booth (#4413) throughout the weekend.

The Summit Entertainment Comic-Com panel discussion will take place on Thursday, July 24, 2008 in Hall H of the San Diego Convention Center. Time of the panel is still TDB, but if you're planning on going to Comic-Con this year, make sure you get tickets for Thursday. There are no 4 day tickets left, so buy single day tickets for the days you want to be there. Get to the hall early and make sure your are in line Thursday morning. so you won't miss out on this once in a lifetime chance to interact with the cast of TWILIGHT!

*Talent attendance subject to change.

I'll be going to Comic-Con on Saturday so I hope they have some interesting freebies still left.

I have to say I didn't know this series was so popular, and at the time I thought it was only out in Spanish so I bought that book (Twilight or Crepusculo in Spanish) and loved it! When I went to get the next book I saw they were in English ... so that made it easier to continue reading.

I really look forward to this movie and I hope it does the books justice, because for some reason the movies based on books never come out like I hope.

I'm not sure i'm happy about the field trip thing covering a few pages from the book itself. They said it kinda wraps up the difficult things in the beginning of their relationship. I don't think i like it.. lol.

The crest is a cool idea, but it kinda doesn't make sense... considering the shamrocks.. they're not Irish.. or Scottish?..

I really like the field trip because it adds to the difficulty between them before they get into their 'real' relationship. It adds more of what we didn't get to read during that time frame.

I really like the crest and how it all brings them together. Edward has a leather band just like Emmett's. You can see the girl's crest in that black picture of all the kids.

However, I am anxious to find out the meaning behind the crest. Lion I'm thinking for strength, the shamrocks... not sure. I'm wondering if it has more to do with Carlisle's back story too.

Yea but i feel like it takes something from their relationship. To have what is the foundation of it changed, or distorted for the movie. Like yea i understand the necessity, but I just feel like it takes something important away. Guess i should be happy they stuck with the scene in Port Angeles.

Lion - Dauntless courage
Hand - Pledge of faith, sincerity, and justice
Shamrock - Perpetuity
Chevron - Protection; Builders or others who have accomplished some work of faithful service
