Re: Wall-E in other Pixar Movies...

I think that everything up to about 1 minute 30 is real (The Pizza Planet truck and the toys that Boo gives Sulley) . After that, the 'Wall-E' cameos are faked.

Re: Wall-E in other Pixar Movies...

The actual design of the Wall-E character was (I think) not fully locked until about two years ago (at the most) even though the film has been in post production long before that. This would make it impossible for him to appear as he does now in any of the films shown (except maybe Cars).

The Toy Story and Incredibles is a major stretch. The only one that's feasible, to me, is the Cars one. Still pretty neat - I didn't know about Nemo in Monster's Inc.

Ugh, guys, I think they are being funny. All of the non-Wall E easter eggs are real, after that, I think they are joking.

Re: Wall-E in other Pixar Movies...

I wonder why they took such effort to insert Wall-E (retrospectively) into the clips but then had really cheap title cards going.

I love that they do this.

We were watching Toy Story the other day and noticed that the gas station was Dinoco.

It was the sponsor in Cars that Lightning wanted to join.

In Cars, Dinoco is the big sponsor that Lightning McQueen and Chick Hicks are vying for.

Re: Wall-E in other Pixar Movies...

Dan Holland is responsible for a lot of the design in Wall-E... And when Dan Holland spoke to us this year, it was clear that Wall-E was not designed when these films came out.
