Female rock musicians!

I think there are some great female rock musicians out there. I for example really like Pink and Alanis Morrisette. But have also just recently started listening to Arden Kaywin who is a indie/rock/pop musician. Especially like her song "Lights out".

Which female rock musicians do you like and what do you think about the once I mention above?

Re: Female rock musicians!

I am IN LOVE with Pat Benatar. She's so small, but she packs such a dynamite voice it's unbelievable.

I also like Paramore and Heart, even though their band mates are males.

Re: Female rock musicians!

I'm not a big fan of most female singers/musicians but ones I do like are pretty old school.

Debbie Harry
Siouxie Sioux
Patti Smith
Pat Benetar
Chrissy Hynde

Re: Female rock musicians!

I grew up listening to Janis Joplin. She is amazing. Summertime is an amazing song. Also Hayley Williams who is the lead singer of Paramore has an amazing voice. She is so energetic. I saw the band in concert over the summer and she really gets the crowd moving.

Re: Female rock musicians!

Ive always been partial to Deborah Harry......and Pat Benatar - she has excellent diction and she is always audible in her songs.

Cindy Wilson and Kate Pierson of the B-52's are awesome! In fact the B's song "Debbie" is 'for' Deborah Harry.....

I almost forgot one of my favorite bands...

The Birthday Massacre

Great goth/pop band from Canada (and they aren't scary or angry like most of the music I listen to )

Re: Female rock musicians!

Ginarella beat me to it, but Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is just a phenomenal singer.
