Walt Disney and the 1964 World's Fair Boxed Set

Has anyone else purchased this yet? I ordered it the day it came out, but haven't had a chance to sit down and listen to all 5 Discs yet. So far, I love the Small World and Progressland Discs. Not much new on Small World, but the Progressland has some nice surprises, including all the different versions of "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" as separate tracks, including the one from EPCOT's Horizons.

It's nice to see a focus on Walt on the set too, as there are tracks that include his description of the attractions from television.

A great addition to my collection, and will be pleasant to hear the songs pop up in my playlists as I shuffle the songs in my iPod.

No, unfortunately, this economy thing has gotten me to reign in my usual impulse-buying habit. Otherwise it might've been a first day buy for me too. Tho' I was concerned that much of the material might be duplicating stuff I have already, and your description helps to possibly confirm that for me. So that's comforting to a degree. But please post again when you get around to hearing the rest of the discs, I'm interested.

Okay, after listening to the whole set, I have to say that I am glad that I bought it. Differences aside, it's good to have some Walt reference material, with his descriptions of the rides from his television show. Also, the Magic Skyways disc is pretty much all new, and the alternate universe Carousel of Progress is interesting at the very least. I do have a large part of the Progressland and Small World discs already, but the new materials make up for that. In fact, I think this is the first ride through of the attraction I've heard that has the sounds of the birds in the rain forest scene, so I think it's a great ride through just for that.

It's a great addition, and I hope more unique sets come out like this one.

CDs only, and most of the Walt tracks are directly from the World's Fair special, but some of the music is a real treat!
