Green Day: 21st Century Breakdown

Those of you who have heard the album in it's entirety what do you think?

Personally, I think it's worth a listen. But it's nothing new. In my opinion every song on the album either sounds like it's been ripped off from another band or from Green Day's earlier work.

My friends and I were actually sitting around listening and made a game of guessing which song and artist inspired the song on the album.

It's definitely the new Green Day sound, but American Idiot it ain't.

(BTW I'm listening to the title track on the album, and I swear they just did a guitar riff that Queen originated)

It's American Idiot: The Sequel.

Not just musically speaking, because who really expects Green Day to change their musical style.

But lyrically, it's just American Idiot. I was actually quite bored listening to it.

I'm sure I'll give it a few more listens, and it may grow on me, but who knows.

I'll give them that it's not as bad as Chinese Democracy.
