Disney needs its own Oscar award. If you get nominated for an oscar or an academy award (I can't remember, maybe both) but don't win you get something from Disney. I don't remember what it is, or any details, but I read about a while ago....

Those are the same things. Oscar is the nickname of the statuettes bestowed at the annual Academy Awards ceremonies.

Andrew Stanton (“Wall-E”) is only the fourth person to score a second bid in the animated feature category, which began in 1981. He also earned a citation in original screenplay as one of the scribes on the film.
