The action-adventure, which revisits the concepts introduced in Disney's Escape to Witch Mountain (1975) and its sequel Return From Witch Mountain (1978), reunites director Andy Fickman and former wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson following their 2007 Disney family hit The Game Plan. It stars AnnaSophia Robb (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and Alexander Ludwig (The Seeker) as two young teens with supernatural powers who suddenly appear in the back of a cab driven by Johnson, and he has to help them save the world by solving the mysteries of Witch Mountain, a secret location in the Nevada desert. Along the way they get the help of an alien expert played by Carla Gugino.

Well, that was....interesting.

I can't decide if this looks bad or good. I'm cautiously leaning towards good.

I finally saw the trailer, when I saw "Bedtime Stories." And, while at first, I wasn't impressed with another remake, as it has already been done so many times before. I was suitablely impressed by what I saw, at least, in the trailer.

I will say, that having read the book, upon which this one and the previous versions were made, it seems that each time they redo it, they get farther and farther away from the book.

Still, I have plans to see it, when it is released to theaters in March.

DIP Jr saw the trailer before Bedtime Stories. He is really looking forward to this movie. Of course he is 10 years old. But dad thinks it looks pretty cool too.
