"Pushing Daisies" creator/executive producer Bryan Fuller is close to a two-year overall deal with Universal Media Studios.

Under the seven-figure pact, Fuller will rejoin the UMS-produced drama "Heroes," which he left after the first season to launch ABC/WBTV's "Daisies," and will develop new projects for the studio.

Fuller, who is wrapping postproduction on the final episodes of "Daisies' " 13-episode second-season order, is expected to officially come on board "Heroes" starting with Episode 20.

Hopefully this means Heroes will be back to it's first season glory.

I'll miss Pushing Daisies, but a great again Heroes is okay with me too.

Is there any possible way NBC could bring back Pushing Daisies??? At least to close out the show in a proper way???

The wording has him creating new shows so probably 'Daisies' isn't their interest. Getting him back into the fold for 'Heroes' and beyond is.

My guess is that they've had a sense for awhile that this would be their last season so he and the writers have crafted a proper finale into the show's final episodes.

Heroes desperately needs him back, but I'm still sad over the loss of Pushing Daisies. : (

He was a co-executive producer and writer of numerous episodes.

Obviously something since when he left the show started going downhill.

I completely disagree with all of you who think Heroes has become worse since the first season. I think its only getting better! So far, I haven't been disappointed with a single episode, and think each week is just as good as ever, if not better!

For a second there I got excited because I thought NBC was picking up Pushing Daisies... but then I got sad now.

Well, on ABC's flip side, NBC lost Scrubs to them...

I sadly thought the same thing.

Mostly sad to me because Heroes (which has been all together lame this year, lets face it) gets to live on, but my Daisies (which has continued to be quality entertainment) is no more!

Nope, last word was that, since the fate of Daisies wasn't sealed when they produced the last episode, it ends with (what is said to be) a doozy of a cliff hanger. The hope is to convince DC to end the story line in a comic, but there hasn't been much word on that

True, but I there was some sort of contract for that to happen. NBC wasn't dropping Scrubs from what I understand. ABC just wanted it back. It was a Disney show from the very beginning that just happened to air on NBC.

HOUSE is an NBC Universal show that airs on FOX.

MY NAME IS EARL is a Fox show that airs on NBC.

so on so forth.

I still think these guys are making it up as it goes along. I can't remember the last time I came across a plot line more porous than this season's. I WANT to like it because I was a huge fan of the first season, but since then, it's like the same plot over and over again. If it's season three and they are still saying things like "Save the cheerleader" something is clearly out of whack. Sylar being good, then bad, then good, Hiro as a 10 year old...there's just more than a few occasions where I wonder what they were possibly thinking. The first season was amazing. This season....it just seems that they chopped a bunch of stuff up and crammed it in after the fact. I'm not feeling it.
