NEW DELHI: Walt Disney on Wednesday announced plans to set up a chain of exclusive stores in India to sell its branded stationary products and craft products in partnership with a local company.
With this, the company has a presence in three out of the four businesses it operates worldwide, through its 55 licensees in India.
Globally, Walt Disney has four lines of businesses — Disney Media Networks, Disney Consumer Products (including publishing), Walt Disney Studios and Disney Theme Parks. In India, it has decided not to set up theme parks as of now.
