Ziff Davis Game Group Presents 1UP Awards

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Ziff Davis Game Group tonight hosted the fourth annual 1UP Awards party in San Francisco, where the editors of Ziff Davis' market-leading 1UP Network honored the top videogame publishers and developers for their contributions to the art and culture of gaming.

The 1UP Network welcomed gaming executives representing the $14 billion industry to the Foreign Cinema bistro and movie house to celebrate their successes. GameVideos.com projected episodes of The 1UP Show, the gaming industry's leading video podcast, on the brick walls of the outdoor garden as the guests mingled.

The stars of the 1UP Show presented the 1UP Awards to the winners, as determined by a vote open to the network's 14 million visitors online. The editors of market-leading gaming magazines EGM and Games for Windows: The Official Magazine also presented their Editors' Choice awards for their top choices among console and PC games.
