Rob Marshall, the famed Broadway and film director-choreographer, won a Directors Guild of America Award in the Musical Variety category for NBC's "Tony Bennett: An American Classic."
Martin Scorsese won in the Feature Film category for "The Departed." Among the other awards, Kenny Ortega won the Children's Programs prize for "High School Musical."
The awards were given out in a Feb. 3 ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City, CA.
Marshall previously won the DGA award for Feature Film in 2002 for "Chicago." He was also nominated in the Musical Variety category in 1999 for "Annie."
