Blog Entries: 25  | WDW Donates $14.2 Million to Central Florida Community Projects  Photo courtesy Business Wire The Walt Disney World Resort yesterday announced plans to donate $14.2 million to community projects in Central Florida. The lion's share of that, $12.5 million, has been earmarked for the Dr. P. Phillips Orlando Performing Arts Center (DPAC). One million dollars will be spent towards renovating the Walt Disney Amphitheater at Lake Eola Park. An additional $700,000 in grants will be awarded to 38 Central Florida non-profit organizations as part of an annual community relations program. Over 130 grant applications were received this year.
