Lohan to appear in Marilyn-esque style nude photoshoot

CNN is reporting that one of our favorite train wrecks, Lindsey Lohan, is posing nude for New York magazine. In the shoot, she will be recreating several poses that Marilyn Monroe did just before her tragic death in 1962.

On a personal note.. Marilyn was classy. Lohan isn't. If she wants to do a nude photoshoot, that's fine, but to copy Marilyn's is just wrong.

I saw some of the pictures on Perezhilton. Sorry, this chick doesn't come close to Marilyn. I heard she did the photo shoot with her teenaged sister in the studio. Train wreck in training!

Well, we've seen just about all of Lohan already.
Marilyn was a drug abuser and committed adultery. Typical Hollywood life, actually.

No, I agree completely. Monroe is a classic idea of beauty and Lohan already looks her mother's age.

Saw the cover and she has an atrocious figure.

And about her having class, so true. Not a classy bone in her body. I wish people would stop humoring her. Now she's really going to think she can play Stevie Nicks. Over reaching much, Lindsay?

after going to the site and looking at the shoot I have to say that I don't think it's quite as bad as everyone else seems to think. No, she's no Marilyn but she's very beautiful and obviously utterly sincere in her admiration of Monroe. However that fact that she is so passionate about such a disturbed and tragic figure is worrisome enough. And that wig is just scary.

Two have lost their minds. Lindsay and Britney.

PLENTY of other ones, all the way back to the original Mickey Mouse Club turned out just fine.

Even some of the kids from Britney's MMC turned out fine. Justin, Christina (although she had her moments a few years back) ... fine.

I think the issues with Britney and Lindsay have WAY more to do with their parental upbrining (or lack of) than with Disney.

Lindsay is NOT associated with Disney, not the face of Disney.

Sure, she did some Disney movies, but she's NOT Disney.

Like anything else Lindsay has done in her personal or professional life the past 3 or 4 years has been Disney.

For the record, plenty of "Disney" stars have started at Disney, gone on to do other "not-so-Disney" movies, etc, and even have come back to Disney. Kurt Russell comes to mind.

Just because an actor does a "Disney" movie or 2 or 3, doesn't mean they belong to Disney.

Well, I think Britney is more closely associated....having been a 90's Mouseketeer, but I do think Lohan, in a remake of the Mills/O'Hara classic sort of ties her to Disney in some respect - personal opinion. And it's not her only Disney movie either....which ties her to the entity even more.....Freaky Friday, Herbie....etc.

Personal opinion, of course.

Johnny Depp has done 3 Disney movies. Then he did Sweeney Todd. He's done other movies in the past that were definately not "Disney" like.

You have to seperate the actor and/or person from the role.

Nobody remembers Britney in the MMC. It's not out on DVD, not on the air. The only people who remember that are Disney nuts and the media when writing something bad about her.

Hey, if I"m not mistaken, I think Hayley Mills did some 'nude' something or other after Disney passed - in the mid/late 60's. Correct me if I am wrong.....
