Florida has different animals in it's shows than in San Diego.

Those are Bottle Nose Dolphins in the shows and the large dark grey ones are fales killer whales http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_Killer_Whale

I have some friends who work behind the scenes on that show, and who work in educational programs.

The larger dolphins you see are False Killer Whales. They are not the Commerson dolphins, those are found only at Aquatica. Also, while trivia but for the sake of accuracy and respect for the departed, the incident in which a Dolphin was lost occur at Discovery Cove, not Blue Horizons.
