With Meet the Robinsons in theatres and the hype machine gearing up for next month’s full-on rollout of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, there’s a lull in Disney related news. A void, C. W. Oberleitner reports, many people are only oh-so-happy to fill with tales from the Disney woods, or perhaps even of their own making.

Interesting (non-)news about DCA. It is interesting that the park has dropped off the radar after so much talk and speculation about it. Hopefully the first theory is right, and Disney is just waiting for the right time to drop the DCA-remake bombshell. Hopefully that time isn't too far off. I don't think Disney can afford to hold out much longer - the park isn't getting better, and the public knows it!

Dca has only dropped of the radar from the disney sites but in no way has it dropped of the radar in Burbank. Major projects are getting the finishing touches and approvals for that park.

It seems like Disney is playing things so wrong here. I seems to me that if Disney were to disclose a GRAND PLAN for DCA and the Anaheim area in general, hopefully with a new park, that could keep its Anaheim brethren happy while holding up the DATE for the expansion to some time in the future. Stockholders do not like big capital expenditures, so I understand why Disney is reluctant, but if they need to put that land on hold they are really blowing this in the media.
