![]() | Golden Horseshoe Tribute 03/28/08 I want to thank all of the wonderful fans and colleagues who made it to Carlene Thie's tribute to the Golden Horseshoe Revue on the 28th of last month. You made it an incredibly significant evening for my father, Wally Boag. It's nice to know one is remembered before it is too late to show it. This event was much appreciated. |

It was an honor going. The speech by you and your sister made were picture perfect and very moving. Thank YOU for making it such a special evening for me, my wife and countless MiceChatters. Chad Last edited by aashee; 04-22-2008 at 02:49 PM. Reason: wrong family member | |

![]() | Re: Golden Horseshoe Tribute 03/28/08 Hey Lawrence!! My name is Lannie. I was on the event committee. I want to thank you VERY MUCH for your involvement and support to help make the event possible. Our group was honored and grateful for your family's involvement. It turned out to be such a wonderful and memorable evening! Your Dad looked great and we were all happy that he was up for it! I hope he's doing well and has "recovered" from the festivities. Your story was so hilarious. I'm still laughing about you navel! I hope that's in the book. Please extend my gratitude and best wishes to your sister and parents. Lannie Bartlett |

![]() | Re: Golden Horseshoe Tribute 03/28/08 aashee stated it beautifully, it was an honor just to have a chance to attend! And I feel especially priviledged to have had a chance to talk to your father for just a short moment that evening! He took the opportunity to joke around with me during that brief time ~ and that is something that I will always remember! Oh, I'm glad you cleared up something from my childhood ~ one of my great aunts told me that my bellybutton was so that at Halloween, you could put a raisin there and go as a cookie!
