This was just announced: Event: Plaza Pavilion ~ Enchanted Tiki Room ~ Aladdin's Oasis Sculpture Release & Signing Special Guests: Miniaturist, Robert Olszewski Date: Saturday, August 4, 2007 Time: 9:00 AM - NOON Location: Disneyana Shop, Main Street, U.S.A., Disneyland®, park Event Information: Renowned miniaturist, Bob Olszewski will be on hand for a special appearance and signing for the launch of the next installment in the Main Street, U.S.A. Collection. Bob has exquisitely captured each minute detail of the Plaza Pavilion, Enchanted Tiki Room and Aladdin's Oasis, including the tables, palm trees, cave of wonders, lighting, etc... A special plaque will be adhered to the bottom of the base for the first day of release. Sculpture comes complete with a certificate of verification. This design combines 3 areas of interest - Plaza Pavilion, The Enchanted Tiki Room and Aladdin's Oasis The Plaza Pavilion - Bob has captured all the exquisite details to showcase the unique style of this building, from it's porch area to the grand number of umbrellas and tables that make it a great resting area for guest. Additionally, the Vacation Club kiosk found in front of the Plaza Pavilion has been recreated and included with this design to be placed as a movable cart out in the courtyard. Special care was given to make the Plaza Pavilion stand out when viewing the design at night. The Enchanted Tiki Room is especially exciting as the details of the courtyard have been skillfully re-created from the Tiki Totems to the talking tree. Next remove the front wall of the Tiki Room and peer inside to see the interior features of this attraction. Push down the center of the roof and the birds in the ceiling will drop down as they do in the actual attraction. Aladdin's Oasis has been recreated to feature the stage, the sand Tiger's mouth to the entrance of the treasure cave, and all the chairs for seating for the audience. A white light showcases this attractive area during night viewing. The Plaza Pavilion ~ Enchanted Tiki Room ~ Aladdin's Oasis sculpture will be offered for $275, plus tax. Dimensions: 12 1/4" x 11 7/8" x 3 3/4 Online sales for this sculpture will begin Thursday, July 26, 2007.

| Re: Aug 4th release and signing So for the Aug 4 release, there was a stack of pieces that were pre-signed. Is this a new thing? I had a prior commitment so I opted for the pre-signed option, which was great because I wasn't even going to wait for a signature. This was only the second release I have attended, the last being for City Hall. Looks like the system is down to a science now.

Well the only release I had been to previously was in June of 04. There was only one line to both purchase and sign, and I don't remember any additional cash registers. I also remember being in line for a very long time. For me this event was a vast improvement over my experience in 04 but I did hear some people grumbling in line. But then not having to pay ebay rates always makes me happy. I don't remember the pre signed pieces but I'll take your word for it.
