CBR is not a very handicap friendly resort because of the way it was built. It's the oldest of the four resorts so if you have a person in a wheelchair make sure you get a first floor room because they dont have elevator access for guests.
Also it doesnt matter which building you get. It's still too far from Epcot to walk. You would need to take a bus.
If you are gonna go to CBR make sure you get a preferred room on the first floor near the Old Port Royale building or the Customs House...whichever you prefer. Old Port Royale is the food court and Customs House is the check in/out building but keep in mind they're pretty far away from each other and are in separate buildings.
Standard view means either courtyard or parking lot view so every island has some standard view rooms. I stayed in a courtyard view room in Barbados in April and it was beautiful.
The resort is very spread out but otherwise I don't think it's so bad for guests who need a wheelchair. As long as you notify the reservation agent of your special needs they will book you into the appropriate room and you should be just fine. The promenade around the lake is a lovely, smooth path which is easy to navigate as well.
