Here are pictures of the main building concierge lounge. The ROYAL PALM CLUB

Club/Concierge level service is available at the Grand Floridian and it is fabulous. The Main Building is only concierge level rooms and suites. There is also concierge service at the Sugar Loaf Building. It is keyed access as is the main building. Both have been renovated recently and will be be placing pictures here as they come in.

Picturesque views of the Seven Seas Lagoon or the Grand Floridian marina are available from more than half of the 900 rooms at the Grand Floridian. Garden views overlook the lush, landscaped gardens, Pool/Marina views overlook the interior courtyard pool or the marina, and Lagoon views offer a view of the Seven Seas Lagoon.

THE MAIN BUILDING CONCIERGE THE ROYAL PALM CLUB and the SUGAR LOAF KEY
The Concierge Lounge is located on the fourth floor. Here, guests may enjoy a continental breakfast from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The continental breakfast includes danish, bagels, cereal, fresh friuts, coffee, tea and juice. "Daily Delights" from 11:30am to 2:30pm (the menu varies daily, but usually includes a meat dish, fruits and a vegetarian dish, including cookies, coffee, sodas and juices). Afternoon tea from 3pm to 4:30pm (includes scones, fruit breads, cookies, jam tarts, and of course, tea). Twilight Refreshments from 5pm to 7pm (includes wine and cheese, with appetizer type dishes served.

Both lounges serve alcohol now and cordials. They also serve Champagne.

Yep, I have stayed at:

DL - Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian
WDW - GF, Poly, Contemp, WL, AKL and Dixie Landings (aka Port Orleans Riverside).
DLP - all of them

And of them all, the GCH is my super fav. GF is my least fav deluxe. But different strokes.

If I want somewhere like the GF, I would just go to San Diego and stay at the Del Coronado.

However a lot is down to taste. I love the GCH, WL and AKL in that order. I like masculine ruggedness.

I have to agree though, I'm not a huge fan of GF mainly because I find it a little too stuffy. I like intimate and relaxing so something like the Polynesian or the Port Orleans French Quarter is more up my alley.

Personal preference is key!

Personally I think you are staying at the GF, you HAVE to stay at the Concierge level. I think that the GF has A LOT to offer and that their conceirge staff is the MOST knowledgable on property (and they can get you into restaurants that are already booked up)!

The property is gorgeous, and has so many great activities that you can only do there.

I agree. I love it there. I have stayed RPC and Sugar loaf. I have stayed at all the deluxe club levels and there is something special about the GF and the CMs in the RPC are great!

Very true! I've stayed in a couple other hotels but GF is the best by far. You can't tell from the pictures but it isn't stuffy at all. It has a lot of marble and it's got lots of natural light and music's always playing...I remember walking in there and being all, "WOAH, I'm lucky! I must've got the best hotel out of all of them!"

It's magical. Stay there if you can!!!
