I have a CM friend/business associate that gets to dine frequently at the finer establishments on property. I have eaten with him at all of these, and they happen to be his favorites as well.

Another that I forgot to mention is Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge. My meals there were also good, but not really all that memorable, and there is something about the ambience that just did not spin my propellor the way the other restaurants did.

The truffled mac and cheese and fruit creme brulee at Yachtsman's Steakhouse is really the icing in the cake to their wine list while dining there. It was close one on my list but as for signature I greatly prefer Citricos because of the wonderful first-hand experiences from what appears to be a dedicated chef.

There probably is a dedicated chef. That would be nice to have. There are definitely a lot of good signature restaurants with Cinderella's Table probably being the worse other than the atmosphere! People say WDW is lacking in food. They aren't if you are willing to spend the $ lol.

Signatures I have heard good reviews about:
California Grill, Citricos, Jiko's, Yachtsman's Steakhouse, I could continue but my mind escapes me!

Plus, you have a number of great table service places: Le Cellier, Ohana', Rose and Crown, Biergarten to name a few. (the funny thing is 3 of the 4 were at Epcot). I guess some non-Epcot ones that were mentioned were Tusker House, Yak and Yeti at AK. At MK, Liberty Tavern seems to get OK reviews the other ones are mixed. DHS you have the Brown derby and 50's Prime time cafe.

    More good stuff....

I need to include a visit to Citrico's for our next trip to WDW.

I would also mention that we had lunch at Yak and Yeti on my last trip, and while the restaurant itself was pretty cool, I did not find the food to be all that impressive, given the prices. It seemed to be on a par with PF Chang, which is not bad food, but Y&Y was considerably more expensive.

Probably not for a while, sadly.

We are newly minted DVC members, and just had our first DVC visit in early June. Next year, we are planning on going to Disneyland for our yearly Disney fix, rather the WDW, so unless I have another business opportunity to go to WDW (those are somewhat unpredictable), it will probably be in 2012.

I know how you feel Brian; I wish I could go every year. If only they opened a DL relatively close to me :-P, maybe in NYC? haha

OMG I can't believe I forgot about Sunshine Seasons at EPCOT. I am a slave to the turkey sandwich with the chipotle mayo & muenster cheese... SLAVE I TELL YOU! Thankfully Panera serves a very similar sandwich so I can get my fix when the cravings hit. I just LOVE that chipotle mayo! NOMS!

I love how you put that.

Though, I do feel like if I eat at Earl of Sandwich in DTD enough I'll be a slave to those sandwiches too!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I am happy to see so many votes for Earl of Sandwich. I first learned of EoS from Mice Chat, and now it is a regular stop whenever we visit WDW. My entire family loves it.

I am sort of glad that there is no EoS near to me.....makes it special when we visit WDW. Its the same reason I am glad that there are no In 'N Out Burger places close by, which makes it a treat when I visit Phoenix or Southern California.

I actually have an Earl of Sandwich near me. It's in Tampa at International Plaza , so I don't go very often, which in turn doesn't kill the one at WDW for me. I'm actually going to have lunch there this Saturday as I have an appointment at Sephora to have my makeup professionally done for an event my work is holding that night.

Really.. I'll have to find one near me... or at least somewhere near somewhere I'll be going. Anyhow how far in advanced do you need to make reservations for Disney dining? I always forget whether its 6 months or 60 days.

    Thanks!
