I know this board has a lot of threads devoted to favorites of people. Some are best table service, some are best counter service, some are best in a certain area. It all seems like good suggestions. However, it seems highly disorganized. I'm trying to get a little more order to your opinions with this thread.

Please respond similar to this pattern you can copy and paste my template if you wish and fill out your opinions following the colon ( Leave blanks where you are without opinion.
After a month or so, I'll post the results in an organized spreadsheet:

    Magic Kingdom
Best Table Service: Liberty Tree Tavern or Crystal Palace
Best Counter/Quick service: El Pirata y el Perico (when it is open)

    Epcot
Best Table Service: This one is tough. I like a lot of the places around the WS. For the best- I guess Biergarten or Le Cellier
Best Counter/Quick service: The Land- Sunshine Seasons

    Animal Kingdom
Best Table Service: never did one
Best Counter/Quick service: Flame Tree BBQ (but no air conditioning)

    Disney Hollywood Studios
Best Table Service: Mama Melrose or Brown Derby
Best Counter/Quick service: ABC Commissary - but we usually grab a Turkey leg or some fruit from the Anaheim Produce and sit outside.

Restaurants at or Near the Resorts
    Best Table Service: 'Ohana
    Best Counter/Quick service: no opinion

    Restaurants in Downtown Disney
Best Table Service: But I guess I like Fulton's the best- but it was a bit pricey. But I only ate at Rainforest, Fultons, and Bongos and I would not recommend Bongos to anyone. That place was the worst.
Best Counter/Quick service: Earl of Sandwich

    Best Overall at Walt Disney
Best Table Service: Biergarten or Le Cellier
Best Counter/Quick service:The Land- Sunshine Seasons - I love their salads.

Comments: Overall, I think Epcot offers the best meals.

thanks for participating. We'll see if we can get some more people!
Yes looking at all the options. Epcot seems to destroy when it comes to food out of all the parks. Earl of Sandwhich seems to be a legend (they should honestly have a spot in MK or something!)

2 of you mentioned 50's Prime Time Cafe as a good sit down place. Is it better than the Sci-Fi Cafe where they play old B sci-fi movies?

My wife is a 50's fan, and I kind of liked the looks of that place as well as the sci-fi one. The dark and glowing icecubes in the sci fi one had me excited lol.

The glowing ice cubes can be found at any bar...it's a signature Disney drink that includes it.

Re: The Best Food at the Parks: Air Condition a Must!

I agree a favorite is relative to a lot of conditions / moods!.
No one has mentioned Cinderella's Table. The prices for it seemed to be awfully steep: Adults $50.96 for lunch!

Eeek. I hear the food quality is bla too.

Seems to be close to twice other restaurants in Disney

On a side note to Yoyo, no one has yet to answer your question you posted on the Transport Optimization thread about buses from Contemporary to Epcot.

    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Re: The Best Food at the Parks: Air Condition a Must!

The food at Cinderella's table is not that good. Kind of like not that great wedding food. But, the experience was great. The kids really enjoyed it. So for me it was worth it to do it once. I would probably not go there again, but definetly worth trying it once. You get a picture with Cinderella, and the characters I think changed a bit since I was there 2 years ago. And you get to eat in the castle!

Before it changed to all characters, I ate there for lunch a few times in a row (year to year). I would always get the Ceasar salad, and year to year there was a definite decline, so I'm not surprised it's gone downhill, especially with the characters added.

Re: The Best Food at the Parks: Air Condition a Must!

Hmmm...>!! well.. this question will have to go to the wife to see if she wants to eat subpar food in the castle just to eat in the castle haha. :-P! Prices are outrageous too. It should be the best food in the parks for the price for a meal. Even though the character experience is nice, I'll wait till I have daughters to meet all the Princesses :-P

California Grill looks to be pretty exotic with its menu selections: Eel, Poki, Tartare, and Tataki, Cobia, Homachi. I never tried / heard of all of these lol!
Seems like an excellent location and view of the castle though . Not sure if its quite my cup of tea.

The best meals I have had on property, in order, have been at:

    A tie:

    California Grill - Filet Mignon
Yachtman's Steak House - Filet Mignon

    And then:

Jiko (at AKL) - Pork Tenderloin

FWIW, on a different visit, I also had less than stellar meals at CG and YSH; not bad by any means, but not equal to what you can get when they really nail it.

I also will throw out a vote for Le Cellier...never a bad meal there, but we usually go there for lunch (Cheese Soup and Pretzel Bread!). I also recently tried for the first time the restaurant in Morocco; Restaurant Marrakesh, and had a very nice lunch there.

Thanks Brian! Your the first to mention Yachtman's Steak house. As a whole filet mignon is a good piece of meat regardless of where you go! It seems to be my favorite of all types of steaks.

Morocco's hmm.. I'll have to look into that one
