Questions for my Upcoming trip.

So I'm going on vacation from August 28th to September 2nd and was wondering if anyone could answer these questions for me.

1. How have the wait times been at Toy Story Mania?

2. Should I have to worry about love bugs?

3. How are crowds usually around this time?

4. Where is the best place to watch Illuminations?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

My wife and I are going the same time! (29-1). Usually, in the past the crowds have not been that bad, since most school are already back in session. We'll see if this holds true, but I have never really a problem this time in the past.

I've also never had to worry about love bugs either.

As far as Illuminations, I have watched it from just about every corner of World Showcase Lagoon, and I think the best places are the across from the Refreshment Port and Off Kilter's stage. Also, between the two shops right at the entrance to World Showcase to Future World is excellent, but is roped off. Mexico or the UK are also good choices, but you would have to find a table extremely early at MExico, or have a reservation in the UK. Just try to find a spot with no trees in the way, where you can see the globe, and away from the direction of the wind and you should be fine.

For illuminations, I loved having the REservation in the UK. We just ordered dessert, went down to their special veiwing zone 5 minutes before it started, and had front of the Railing veiw. Then we enjoyed sitting in the restauraunt waiting for the crowds to go down.

1. How have the wait times been at Toy Story Mania?
Wait times have been between 90-105 minutes or more. Fastpasses for the day are usually gone by noon or before. I did the single rider line last week and got on in maybe 15-20 minutes.

2. Should I have to worry about love bugs?
Not really. They don't bite anyway. They're just annoying.

3. How are crowds usually around this time?
When I went it was busy but not too insane.

4. Where is the best place to watch Illuminations?
Doesn't matter. Just make sure you're facing the same way the wind is blowing or you're going to get a face full of smoke.

Ok... I just saw this. What in the world are Love Bugs? I'm heading to WDW next month (1st trip, yay!) and now I'm slightly afraid... ominous little buggers.
