I'm a huge fan of wooden coasters. I think that the Terminator theme would be cool but not as a wooden coaster. I see a Terminator ride being a steel silver track with tons of laser effects and loops.

Golly, what a day
I don't like Woodie Rollercoasters all that much because they leave me sore.
I can't stand when they attempt to theme roller coasters to some movie like this. Show me one spot in the movie where a wooden roller coaster has any play? I'd rather you just name it something that's just a name than claim it has a tie into the Terminator Franchise.
i just don't see Terminator and Wood Coaster mixing well, when i think of a Terminator coaster the first thing that comes to mind is some big steel beast
Then again, if Christian Bale will be around to open up the ride, you'll certainly get the ladies out there.![]()
Sounds like Face Value to me. It'll probably be Terminator in name only so that way when the license ends they can just rename it and get on with their lives.
I like wooden roller coasters and California definately needs some good woodies. However, a Terminator themed wooden roller coaster makes almost no sense. It's like calling the Matterhorn, Batman:The Ride. Nothing says Batman better than a bobsled ride down the Matterhorn mountain. At least Batman: The Ride and Superman: The Escape make some thematic sense. Plus, Universal has T2:3D, so it will be weird for two SoCal parks to have different attractions based off the same franchise. Terminator:Salvation will likely be a crapfest anyway.

Arnold's not going to be in it. The hottest actor in Hollywood, Christian Bale is.
So don't base your opinion off of Terminator 2 or 3.
