Kelly's Hoover Dam Tour and Valley of Fire Trip report

This is the first time I ahve done a trip report for the main Mice Chat area. I have done a couple in the private clubs. I hope you like it and are not:sleep:

A few weeks ago, hubby took a week off of work and we decided to play the tourist here in Vegas. But where to go. We decided the DAM Tour at Houver dam 1 of those days, and another day The valley of Fire.

Now at the Dam there are 2 tours you can take one is $11 while the other is $30. We wanted the more extensive tour but coundt take that one as children have to be over 8 years old. So we went on the Mini Dam tour.

PART 1.. THE DAM TOUR....

On the way to Hoover Dam.. they have been doing consturction these past few years on a NEW BRIDGE. Soon I dont think YOu can drive over the dam as this New bridge will take it over the top

there is a marbel floor near the turbines that is close to 100 years old.. it is gorgeous

basically on the $11 tour you go underground for maybe 20 minutes, the rest is a self guided tour thru a museum which was really interesting

Yes there is a souvenir shop.. at the door there is a manquin (didnt get the picture) that says Buy your DAM SOUNVENIRS HERE:lol:
