Those fruit tarts from the pastery shop look great!

Thanks so much for coming to the wedding Annie!! Glad that you had a good time in

The wedding was such a fun great night.. the stress was totally worth it!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

OMG! You look like you had so much fun!

I had a cousin who lived in Huntington Station as well.

And Westbury is a popular spot to catch the train--I've used it twice now.

But a bagel? Unless it's from an actual kosher bagelry, I'd not recommend one. But there's Sabbrect's all over the place for hot dogs....dang good ones too.

And see? You start talking about NYC, I immediately turn to food! You should have had a black and white cookie, THOSE are New York, all the way.

    Peace,
    Roo

They had black and white cookies! Just from the grocery store, unfortunately

I actually had my first bad black and white cookie. We went to the city on Saturday with NNL's bridemaids, and ate at Maxie's. I decided to have a black and white, since they looked delicious. Turns out the icing was rock solid. I was so disappointed.

At least I had a good cake the next day.

    It was a blast!

And I KNEW there was a reason I 'd heard the name Stony Brook before.... I 'm pretty sure I had heard it from you!

    How does that lyric go?

    "The daffodils that entertain-
    at Angelo's and Maxie's-"

    From 42 Street.

Sorry, my theatre persona just emerged. My Ma was even a Rockette in her teens--but she'll get all cranky if I told ya.

I bet that was some good cake, as it were!

And, occasionally, you gotta have a bad black and white-makes you appreciate the good ones.

    Peace,
    Roo

PS: If we knew you were going...we could have gotten you over to the terrific NYC Disney Store! They even have location-specific merchandise! It's way cool and over on Fifth Avenue! Of course, the window shopping is reason enough to visit 5th!

Re: Some Micechatters take Manhattan, Massapequa and the Hamptons

We thought about directing the WestlyCups to the NYC WOD but I knew they'd barely have enough time to do that and get their train back... esp. when i figured they'd get sidetracked by times square lol

They'll just have to come back to get the real NYC experience
