Thank you so much for posting this BTF! This ride was truly one of my fondest memories growing up. My Aunt worked there when I was 3 so I got to ride this one quite a bit. Thanks again, I smiled the whole time watching it!

Bear-y Tales Fan thx so much for posting the videos. It sure brings back memories. I worked on the ride when it first opened. I am aashee's aunt and had fun bringing him on the ride. I also still have the book telling the beary tale story.

Having it close when I was only 6 leaves me with little recollection, but I DO remember the Frog Forest vividly, as well as how terrified I was of the giant spider in the Thunder cave.

The County Fair scene was amazing as well. Once I saw old photos of the attraction, all the memories came back..

This attraction is truly one of the greatest ever created.

Yes it was designed by good Old Rolly Crump.I still talk to him this day.the ride was supposed to be a country western story,A boy and his donkey going to the fair,1950's,gypsy's,and a china story.all of the characters were supposed to be humans but evolved into bear's as development went on because bears were popular at the time and still are.
