Found elsewhere and confirmed at 1-800-UNIVERSAL:

The Fear Factor Live at Universal Studios Hollywood is now on a "Holidays-Only" schedule. This overrides a previous announcement regarding a "Weekends-Only" schedule. The next showing of the Fear Factor show at Universal Studios Hollywood will be in November for Thanksgiving weekend.

Edit: This show may still be on weekends through September.

I agree! That show was the only reason we were planning to go to USH.

At least I know to not bother going!

The show is still on this weekends schedules at the park.

Ahh, I think I see the confusion. When I called to confirm the move from Weekends to Holidays-Only, whoever answered said, "Yes, that show is going to a Holiday Schedule." When I asked to verify that it won't be showing in October (the time that we'll be there), they said, "That's right." I did not verify the continuing September weekend schedule. My bad.

The same people who bash DCA are the same people who are so quick to praise USH. But it seems these are two parks with VERY similar issues, and that use the same strategies (quick fixes, discount tickets) to attempt to solve those issues.

But yet one is a "Great Park" (USH) and one sucks (DCA). Why is that?

Because...one of them has the Disney name on it, and with that name, carries higher expectations? It just seems that maybe your jumping to DCA's defense before anyone even said anything about it in the thread.
