Knott's food drive admission question

Knott's is offering a discount (until Feb 1, 2009) where you can get in for the kid's price if you bring & donate a can of food at the gate. I'm wondering if you have to enter the park that same day, or do they give you a coupon where you can come back some other day (and only pay the kids price).

Anyone know how that works?

The discounted "Junior" ticket HAS to be used the day that you bring the food donation (expires February 1st). It cannot be used at a later date.
