FPI MB Entertainment LLC bid of $25 million for bankrupt park was accepted by the judge overseeing litigation. Expectations that the park will reopen just before Memorial Day weekend. Two of the original founders are remaining on board to help manage and guide the park in the right direction. According to what the company has said, expect new rides and shows to be added after it's rededication on opening day.
Hard Rock International and FPI MB are reportedly on good terms with eachother. Hopefully, the Hard Rock brand name will continue at the park in terms of attractions and merchandise. Looks like we won't be getting a park in Orange County any time soon as I had wanted. Still, who knows ..perhaps later on down the long and winding road.
