Cypress Gardens Re-Opening March 20

My dad read in the paper (Lakeland Ledger) that Cypress Gardens is re-opening on March 20th. Odd thing is their website han't been updated to reflect and there's been no other advertising besides what my dad read in the paper this week.

We actually drove right by there today (did a little shopping at the Bealls across the street) and guess what.... all the rides are still there! I thought they were going to be dismantled and sold off? I saw the ferris wheel, 3 coasters and one ot two other flat rides from the road. And they all appeared to be intact. Guess they couldn't find a buyer for them or something.

Wow.... 50+ views and no responses. Guess no one cares about Cypress Gardens anymore.

I am not sure where Cypress Gardens is.

It's in Winter Haven, FL (less than 30 min from WDW). They consider themselves Florida's first "theme park".
