    (Except for Alien Annhilation. Uggghhh.)

Does anyone know the best time to go to avoid the middle schoolers? The last time I went, the only times I was miserable it had to do with middle schoolers. And one adult.
I recomend week nights or Sundays because then the kids have to be up for school in the morning. The problem is, so do I. My solution was going the Sunday before Columbus Day because it's a federal holiday (I'm off), but not a state holiday (kids aren't off).

As for Alien Annhilation, it worked last year for me. You need to buy the glasses for a lot of the scares to work, but you don't need to buy the laser tag get up. Lost Vegas has failed horribly every year for myself and my friends and we were suprised with Doll Factory after hearing so many good things about it. I'll give it one more try this year, and hopefully the sets won't be falling appart, they will have talent in the maze, and the black shirts won't be rushing people by the few monsters in the maze.
Women, they make the highs higher and the lows more frequent.

This will be my second year of attending and last year was great. I'm just happy Lost Vegas didn't make the cut.

Yeah, Lost Vegas was getting kind of ridiculous, but I appreciated it and Killer Klown College for its humor. And I'll miss the scary versions of Las Vegas-y songs.

I will miss KKC to a degree, but not so much for Lost Vegas.

Truth be told I didn't find it to be very funny... maybe that's just me.

World's of Fun in KC has their version, albeit weak. I wonder if any of the mazes will be the same.

I am totally looking forward to the London Terror one. It's sorta like, Why Didn't I Think of That? I'm surprised they haven't done that one before. Creepy.

really? I will check ultimatehaunt.com for pics. I didn't go the last two years but went almost 5 consecutive years before that. Crazy that I missed it.

Do you know if it was any good?

I'm not sure but I think it might have been part of the 25th Anniversary Maze. I could be way off, though. Not including when I started working Haunt, I only went twice as a guest

Thanks for the tip, I was quickly able to locate pics on their site. It was part of the 25th Maze. I was trying to link it, but it won't give me a direct link from the pictures, alas! It looked pretty cheesy but it was 1997, lol.

    Re: Knott's Scary Farm 2009

Yeah, there was a point (I'm going to say 2003, in my opinion) where mazes started to look a lot fancier. I only mention 2003 because it was when The Asylum debuted on the stagecoach lawn and it had the big fascade out in front. That was massively impressive looking and I had the pleasure of seeing it every night since I was in The Swamp at the time. Since then, mazes have looked a lot fancier inside and out (most notable 13 Axe Murder Manor). I'm looking forward to see what Lockdown and Terror of London will look like, this year.

Is Knott's halloween scarier than Universals?

I did my very first scary halloween trip last year to universal, and wow, yeah chain saw wielding clowns are not my friends.
