    Enjoy A Spin Thru Lost Kingdom Adventure (Dark Ride & Virtual Shooting) @ Legoland

    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLnHq4OPsvE]YouTube - Lost Kingdom Adventure Dark Ride[/ame]

    Take a ride thru one of Legoland's 2009 additions to the park in California. This attraction entails a dark ride element combined wirh a virtual shooting match... along the lines of Buzz Lightyear, Men In Black: Alien Attack, and Toy Story Mania... only much simpler.

    Love Legoland's slogan...

    Built For Fun.

    I have rode this ride twice at Legoland.

    This ride is not even good. It's a low budget ride. It reminds me of a carnival ride.

    The door doesn't even open automatically. The door is opened using the car itself.

    I don't think legoland belong in this forum either.

    Now, tell me what you don't like about the ride.

    Ride looks cool (but kinda looks cheap too) Im not really into these shooters as much as TSM because its MUCH more interactive than dark rides with bulls-eyes.

    I like Sally Corp.'s rides, we have Ghost Hunt over here in Connecticut. This looks very disappointing, but I guess it would be must better if the soundtrack was playing. Was it not working right?

    I give it a B+ for effort!

    I think the ride looks fun if I was with a little one. I give it a C for cute.

    Have you even BEEN to Disneyland? On rides like Pooh, Pinochio, Mr. Toad, Snow White, Alice and Monsters Inc, where the doors are opened by the cars.

    Dark ride doors that are opened by the cars have a fun old fashioned charm to them. Love the automatic doors as well. Just the same, it would be boring if the operational elements of every ride was the same.

    Besides Miniland USA, Legoland's Lost Kingdom Adventure was the ONLY other attraction I truly enjoyed. It took forever to get through the queue. I couldn't help but criticize the way the worker's loaded and unloaded the ride compared to the ease and cheer that CMs carry out their responsibilities. But my major complaint would be the fact that the ride moves way too fast to shoot at the target sensors which are quite small.
