Boy, does this bring back memories!

I was raised in the central valley, not far from these parks, and we spent much time visiting them when I was a child. We used to rent a "cabin", a wooden wall, tent-topped building, with kerosene lanterns for light, and a wooden stove on the porch for cooking. (We had modern appliances at home. Honest. I'm not that old, this was like luxury camping at the time! ) My sister even lived and worked one summer up there.

    Thanks for the report!

absolutely amazing, really enjoyed our time up there. For anyone interesting in lodging in the park I'd recommend the Montecito!
