Drove by the park today doing some work in the area. The lift hill is in the process of assembly. Looks like it starts around the base of the tower and lifts up and to the left as you look at the park from I-5. Doesn't look like much else has been built. Then again it's hard to look when you're zooming by at 75mph
Hehe ... Six Flags is getting an erection!

Note the tree in the middle of the lift hill, very cool! Also note the extrememly steep angle of the lift, suppossibly is at a 45 degree angle, in that position at that angle, will probably feel almost like you're climbinging vertically!

I get to drive by this everyday and it looks pretty cool. Don't know if I will ever go even though I live down the street. Another discussion which I don't care to get into. Hopefully new owners can change my mind.
Due to the construction up front off the Old Road, more of the rides are visible from the freeway now due to the hill be graded down.
This is the same design as the "Superman" rollercoaster at Six Flags Great America in New Jersey .. which I went on TWICE .... it was my favorite coaster there ....... I'm sooooooooooooo thrilled my local 6F park is getting one!!!!
Well ... you're probably right ......... but I watched ABC7 last night .. where they did a 1 minute spread on the story ... showed a computer simulation of the ride ...... And like the Superman coaster in New Jersey ... it suspends us from our backs facing down ... layed out .. as we are flying (ALA): like Superman.
