    A Visit to PIXAR

Hello everyone, recently the cartoon art museum in san francisco had a benefit at Pixar animation studios, which i attended, it was a pretty great afternoon. We arrived at the studios, having been once before for the month early toy story 3 screening, and we looked around for a while, as I was grabbing some free soda from the luxo cafe soda fountain, i spotted Lee Unkrich director of Toy Story 3, and managed to grab a photo with him!!
After that, I ran into Jeff Pidgeon, Pixar story artist, and the voice of the little green aliens! My friends and i actually sat down and had lunch with him, and talked about pixar, and movies, and anything else you could think of, later on we had a long conversation with another pixar story artist Jason Katz, it was a phenomenal day at pixar, and i would like to share my photos with you!

Thanks for sharing. I've had a tour of DreamWorks animation, but would really love to see Pixar.

Sitting at the tables inside? I saw a tall guy wearing a fedora telling us what we could do and all the exhibits.

So do you work at Pixar? Or the Cartoon Art Museum?

Thumbs up Re: A Visit to PIXAR

How fun! I lived in the East Bay for 4 years and would always pass by Pixar Studios wishing how amazing it would be to finally get pass that Pixar sign. Your picture of the backside of the Pixar sign is just as infamous as the backside of water . You just don't get to see it that often!

I do too! The first time I went to Pixar was 6 years ago with an after-school girl's science club. We even got to go into some of the upstairs conference rooms and sit in the chairs at the long, glossy tables. We even went over storyboards for TS2. It was magical!

Yep, that was me. I am with the Cartoon Art Museum (teaching Cartooning and doing some graphic design). Here are my pictures from the event on Flickr.
