I wonder? Would the whole seat freefall system make the train too bulky, giving it terrible aerodynamics?
Well I've seen weirder concepts. MVR, the new kids on the block behind the wooden behemoth High Five Deuling Coasters coming to Oct Wuhan China in 2011, reveiled their next endeavour to a launched wooden rollercoaster.......A LAUNCHED WOODEN ROLLERCOASTER!!!!>: (

The extended bulkiness probably present gravitational and aerodynamic issues that need to be resolved. Once they are, prepare for the fright of our lives!
China's coasters are some of the scariest around. Of course, part of this is from not having OSHA to contend with.
