My Las Vegas Afternoon

My girl and I were invited to spend the weekend with her at her TimeShare in St. George, Utah. She lives in Oregon so I may not get to see her too often, so we packed up and sped our way down the 15 from SLC.

I stopped to write my name in the snow...



We arrived in St. George and it was warm enough to go swimming. I was thrilled, we BBQ'd and fell asleep. The next morning the 3 of us piled in my truck and drove to Las Vegas... I'm often there to DJ when we "gig-swap", so I know the nightlife... I don't know what goes no during the day and my mom has never been...

Almost a full year since I've seen these in person #nestolgic





We wondered over to the Bellagio to check out the fountain show times. Now time for the softer side of Vegas.

We rode the Roller Coaster at the New York New York! It was incredibly painful! I don't reccomend it to ANYONE!



Downtown Las Vegas has a Monorail... and we rode it!







Then we Jersey Shore'd it up at the Mirage... or The M Life as they call it.



Just passing thru though... our real destination was Tresure Island











Across the street at the Venetian.





























I ran into Indiana Jones... no one recognized him which was nice.



















There aren't any photos of the next part because it was so SUPER DISAPOINTING! We jumped off the Stratosphere.



It was 855 feet of BORING! You walk off the platform into your harness as you slowly lower to the ground. LAME! I'm so mad we wasted the money Unless you're TERRIFIED of hights you won't get anything out of it.



On that note... we left. Vegas... It's aright... but I'm never too impressed.

Yes. It was best to use your that money toward real skydiving from a plane than jumping off Stratosphere.

Gamble? Lose or gain money. LoL

I planned too but I only paused long enough to make me $1 from the pennie slots.

The plan was to go Skydiving on this trip but it was too cold so this is what we settled for. Time to make some serious plans for summer!
