2012 Oktoberfest at Delaware Saengerbund

Hi MiceChatters,

It was that time of year for Delaware Saengerbund to have the 2012 Oktoberfest. Little enjoyable rides, the food, the german dancing, & of course the beir/beer drinking. :)

At first me & mother went to go enjoy some of the rides. We only went on the Himalaya and The Hustler. Then went to go eat.

I had the usually Weisswurst, German Potato Salad, & Sauerkraut.

I had my favorite Black Forrest Cake. One guy actually wanted to steal it away from me this year.

My mother had a German Chocolate Cake. We wind up sitting next to a german exchanged student and she told us that is not how they make a German Chocolate Cake. They don't put coconut on it.

Nice TR. Wow the prices for food and bier are cheap in DE! A beer that size at the Oktoberfests in So Cal (Big Bear, Huntington Beach, Torrance) is about 9-10 bucks and a bratwurst you are looking at $7-8.

My mother was complaining that those prices are expensive at the Delaware Saengerbund. I tried to tell her that alot of people say that's pretty cheap and I agree with you and them.

Thank you for stopping by Jim. If only I could buy a whole cake of Black Forrest. Sometimes they do at the Christmas Festival. It is so good and I want another slice everytime I see this picture. :D
