Just recently found out about this place. It looks ridiculous, the stories coming out of this place are amazing! The park is infamous for injuries and lax enforcement. GoKarts that were modified to go 50mph and treated like bumper cars. Snake infested ponds, dangerous slides including the infamous Cannonball Loop. An Alpine Side that had poorly maintained karts that resulted in many injuries including a death.

The park closed in 1996 and was sold to a larger company which renamed it Mountain Creek. They removed a lot of the original rides including the injury prone loop slide. They added more modern rides including redoing the speed slide with a less steep angle so a net would no longer be needed to keep people from falling out. In 2010 it was bought back by the original owners. They are brining back the Action Park name and a loop slide.
