    Need Sea World HELP! PLEASE!

    Hi everyone!

I'm planning a trip to Sea World San Diego this Tuesday but have just found out from Weather.com that it's going to be raining. It's pretty much the only day that I can go and I already bought tickets. I'm really excited to go because I haven't been in a REALLY long time.

So does anyone know if they close off anything for RAIN??
My intuition says no... but would really like some definite answers from people who would know.

    THANKS!!

I am pretty sure that everything continues in the rain.

Just pick up a poncho at a 99 cent store before you go, and have a great time!

Um, I don't know, but the soak zones are for getting splashed by Shamu -- and I'm not too sure you wanna smell like fish the rest of the day, poncho or not. Just IMHO

    thats gross. *yuck*

I have only sat in the soak zone once. It was at the dolphin show and we did get soaked, but we did not smell like fish all day. When we go we sit in the reserved seating. It offers good views of the shows and no splashing/soaking....LOL, but if it's rainign anyway...I figured it would be a good time to sit there..

Do NOT go to SeaWorld. That place is the devil. If you're gonna go to San Diego spend some time at Balboa Park and Old Town San Diego instead. Sea World sucks so much.

Sea World is awesome. Unless there is a torrential down pour, you should be alright. I remember them closing the park when I worked there, due to a pouring rain.

    Enjoy yourself, great park!

You have to watch out for too much rain - then they have to put all of the animals inside so they won't get wet!
