To celebrate this milestones... USJ is throwing a big bash a la Disney... with special anniversary versions of their popular daytime parade/show "Happy Harmony Celebration", and also introducing a spectacular new nightime lagoon show called "Peter Pan's Neverland" in which USJ pull all the punches and recreates the Peter Pan story on the waters of the park's lagoon, complete with flying Peter Pan, who pulls a flying trick simialr to Tinkerbell's flight at DL's Dreams do Come True pyro show... Peter will soar high and low and from east to west of the lagoon as he battles Capt Hook and his pirate crew, with Wendy in tow...

While not the Disney version per, I find it interesting that Universal would undertake a tale that is so familiar to Disney fans around the World.

Hmm.. looks like their management is learning how to come back from the Bad PR a few years ago...

(their park is based on USF, yet has all the rides in completely different areas.. lol I would get so lost.. but at least it seems their lands kept their theme unlike USF's)

Me and my family will be going to China & Japan this summer. I don't know yet if we'll be heading for any of the Universal and Disney parks yet. I really hope so though.

..and enjoy. I do plan to return to USJ on May 21st in hopes to see the newest lagoon show "Peter Pan's Neverland" and catch the 5th anniversary version of the daytime streetacular "Happy Harmony", plus any other anniversary related decor and festivities inside the gates.

Maybe, its possible, because it seems USJ isn't in the "hold off on everything" state that USF and USH are in (see Oz).

Nice photos.. interesting to see them celebrating their 5th.. while the american parks rarely celebrate anything.. (USF never celebrated anything at all.. IOA hasn't either.. not even pins..)

Yes but with IoA, if you owned it would you want to highlight the fact that your park is 7 years old and has yet to recieve new attractions? ;)

I cannot believe it has been seven years. Even now, the newest ride to open will be an attraction that has been built since the park opened.
