    SFMM Parking Structure?

Now this is a COMPLETE! rumor, but I thought I would post it anyways because it may make for an interesting discussion. Of course there are many flaws with the rumor and seems untrue.
A fellow employee of mine stated that way down the line, they may build a multi-level parking structure on top of the existing parking lot in "A lot" in an effort to free up some more space, to build another coaster. Similar to what they did for scream.

    Now the problems:
    • Mark Shapiro blatanly stated at the meeting he had with the employees that it would be "a while" before SFMM saw another coaster comming its way. We need to fix many more things before spending another 21 million on one ride.
    • He also talked about how important theming is for rides, and as we know from Scream, a parking lot is not a great theme.
    Now the benefit:
    • If the parking sturucture was to happen anyways without the new coaster, WAY DOWN THE LINE, people who have a much shorter distance to walk from the lot, and they might not be as angry to shell over $15 as the first thing they do.
    Your thoughts?

I think it's a great idea ... but I think they need to at least re-pave the existing parking lot first.

Yeah, the part that actually HAS pavement. Last time we went, we parked way out in the boonie-ville dirt!

with a parking structure you can pay for prefered parking... or park on the old cracking pavement... no more parking in the space reserved for "the Dust Bowl"

Come on guys. The "Dirt" is all part of the theme. They wanted it to look like a dirt lot. A lot of people like dirt.

I'm all in favor of them building a nice structure, but worry about security. They should also think about selling some of their coasters and use the money for repairs, security, and themeing. At least it works for me in Roller Coaster Tycoon.

I never could do rct without a little trainer to help, (I guess you built small then big...)

Hmm, money on maintinence and security could help that park... Repaint, replace bulbs, have a rides closed notice at parking lot, security check and ticket booth... A few new family rides, this all can help bring SFMM up.
