    SFMM Employee Preview for Tatsu

There was a flyer up in the entertainment office today, friday, saying that they need employees, and friends and family to ride Tatsu next tues, and wed. the 9th and 10th from 10am to 5pm for AT LEAST a two hour block for filming for commercials. It says to wear bright clothes, and be over 18, or have a parent/guardian sign the wavier for you. I'm going on the 9th!!!! Yeah!

^ooohhh...sorry. The position of "Friend" has already been filled by pineapplewhipaddict. Auditions were held at CSUN in NH 214 at 10:00 last thursday. Thank you to all who applied, it was a very difficult decision, but pwaddict just had what we were looking for.
No...really, i'm looking forward to going, but no photos allowed. On a side note, i was working at the park all day, and around 2:00 pm i saw live human riders on the ride, all three trains were running. Not park guests riding, don't know who they were.

Engineers who designed it, Construction workers, Higher ups... thats usually how it works before employee ride... (Sheikra at BGT did something different where employees got on it in aug rather than may.. but Coaster clubs from FLA road it for the commercials..)

okay, confession to make...i went on it today with a few sherrifs and a "(very) higher-up". Me and a co-worker went on front row twice in a row. My one-word description of the ride: serene. It is such a quiet, smooth, tranquil ride. The only place on the ride I got a stomach dropping feeling was the first second on the pretzel loop. I think it is because you see what is comming on the loop once you finish the egg turn(copyright tpr), but you cant see the part of the loop where you go up at first during the loop...if that makes sense. The zero-g rolls, are unbelievalbe, the horizon just turns upside down, and in my opinion, there is not intensity...it's beautiful. The lift up is quite interesting...realizing that all you can see is the seat that you are in. The restraints come down and the ankle restraints lock in place, then the lift you back into position. The you cant see the supports on the way up, but you get quite a cool view of roaring rapids. All in all, a wonderful ride! Still going to the filming/riding on tuesday!

One of the most personable people I have ever met. She is incredible behind the scenes, as well as out in the park. Never hesitates to help a guest or host/hostess in need.
