Hi there, TDLFAn. Don't be a One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Perhaps we should meet at Mythos Restaurant (one of my favorite dining establishments) and discuss the matter - if you give a Flying Unicorn about it.

Re: Your Islands of Adventure "Big Top 10"

You mean... they actually open "Mythos" for business at least once a year?!?!?!

In all honesty here... when IOA opened.. I was quite impressed. But the last time I visited, the place looked so run down and unkept, I could barely stand it and ended up leaving. I am big on theming and when a beautiful park is allowed to falter due to lax maintenance practices... it bothers and pains me terribly. Inop props at major rides such as Jurassic Park ride, down rides such as the Pterodactyls Flyers, closed eatery facilities, lack of good merchandise, the type of unruly teenage crowds, loud music in queues such as the Hulk coaster...also disappointed me terribly. In fact, I was so bothered by Universal's slip, I decided not to renew my AP to the resort. It's been about a year and a half since that and I am willing to give IOA another chance if there is proof of improvement. The addition of the trolley ride in Seuss Landings, which was part of the original concept for the park, and new lagoon show at the Studio..are making me wonder if it's worth visiting again... Besides... having had the pleasure of visiting Universal Studios Japan recently and seeing first hand what a great little park that is (both in theming, cleanliness and entertainment offerings) gives me hope for a better Universal Orlando experience, but I am not holding my breath at all.

Well, I certainly hope they clean-up IOA and make it shine like new again. I'm quite excited about the coming Seuss trolly ride. They say that it will have the longest track of ant ride in the park. Sounds fun and relaxing .It ppears to have the functionality of the PeopleMover whimsy, and the whimsy of Casey, Jr. and Heimlich's Chew Chew Train.

    Pass the salt, please.

    1. The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman
    2. The Incredible Hulk Coaster
    3. Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls
    4. Popeye & Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges
    5. Jurassic Park River Adventure
    6. Dueling Dragons
    7. Poseidon's Fury
    8. Cat in the Hat
    9. Dr. Doom's Fearfall
    10. One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

While I agree it's a shame that the effects often don't work on JPRA and some rides recently went through lengthy rehabs, IOA is definitely still worth visiting. The Seuss Trolley Train Ride, from the photos I've seen, will be a great addition to Seuss Landing.

Hmm.. I will be back with you on my top 10...

IOA.. well.. it's getting there.. slowly.. They have been massively painting the faded SL area of the park.. (due to the new attraction) I hope they continue with the improvements.. They really want people to come.. maybe NBC should redo some thing here and there to tie in with their fall schedule... lol

Yes...that would be nice.. "Friends: The ride" where you ride from one trauma to another and end up getting married by the end of the ride, just to go next door to a lousy sequel ride. Or how about "Will and Grace: The Ride" where from our boat we see gays and lesbians live in a totally accepting World, free of prejudice and conservative ideals that hinder their being "equals" by word of Law. And then there is the "NBC Soap Opera Weekends" in November, where fans of the daytime dramas can meet their fav actors and..... *WAIT* They already did that two years ago and it was poorly attended.

Haha, or how about Fear Factor Live, a show where park guests get to do stunts and eat bugs! Well, actually that would be a stupid idea since the tv show was recently cancelled...

I still find Indy to be superior to Spiderman. In Spidey, it's more of a moving 3D movie but in Indy, you're in a real enviroment with real dangers.
