We enjoy the Boardwalk a couple of times per year.
Nothing (well, not much) beats a walk on the beach at sundown watching the kids playing in the surf.
i was there this past sunday and the weather was great it was around 75 perfect weather.

I haven't been to the Boardwalk in a REALLY (7-8 years) long time. Sure miss the boardwalk as well as Rebecca's Mighty muffins in downtown SC.

Got the itch to get out of our 103 temps and drove to the coast to cool off for the weekend. Yeah...Us and a gazillion other folks! LOL
It was still a blast. Crowds and all!
I was supposed to go anderson lake with my sister but instead we went shopping in ikea. by the time we got back to san jose around 1:30 it was soo hot and dry. I wish i could have made it to the beach i bet the weather was beautiful!!
We go a couple times a year....it is such a great place.
