I have never bought the 3D glasses and have always enjoyed the mazes without them.

I did buy the 3d glasses a few years ago (and re-use them), and it really adds a diffrent level to the mazes. Is it need for 100% enjoyment, no, but it's really cool.

Re: Knotts Halloween Haunt Mazes and Shows Announced!

i love the mazes at haunt..ive been 2 times in my life (i live less than 10 min. away) but i just hate the people there, nothing but annoying teens running around. but then if you go on a off day (tuesday or wednesday ect. ect.) around 11, 11:30 the park is dead.. hardly any workers walking around. So the only way im going is if there is something that is a must see. I too go to see the shows, some are really good and funny. i re-use 3-d glasses but my first time there (the first year of that clown maze,) a worker at the exit gave me a pair for free. The glasses are neat but arnt really needed. they just make people blend in, and the walls seem to move (they make me dizzy)

whats your opinion on whats better, red moon massiacre or the one based on Jason?

So in the grudge maze, will the little boy who meows be in it or will a werewolf pop out of nowhere?

We were making fun of a friend because a female vampire kept falling him with her mouth open

THE TRAFFIC! THE TRAFFIC!! We're gonna get maybe 2-3 hour head start and try that. We ended up being an hour or so after opening hour and parked in the dirt lot. But it was really no big deal because it was our first year going, so we were inexperienced.

Thanks for letting us no 3D glasses are not required.

I'll most likely tape The Hanging and maybe other shows and post on youtube .

i wish they would do a complete Vampire maze makeover...Lore IS stale...and it lacks the lushness that Dominon of the Dead (imho, the best vampire maze ever) had....

Reading this list, I'm quite depressed that Ed Alonzo isn't making a return...or Dr. Cleaver. Those were my two FAVORITE shows...and I actually prefered Ed's show in the Good Times Theater. I loved the dancers/singers and the naughty magic tricks....I'm sad now.

Agreed. My first Haunt experience was Ed's show in the Ghoul Times Theatre with the show Ghouls Gone Wild. He was perfectly capable of working that giant audience.

I have a video of Dr. Cleaver from another site and WOW It's insane what they get away with! I'm just glad I finally get to experience Knott's haunted houses (mazes whatever) instead of Cedar Point's!
