Even on slow days X's line will be 2-3hrs because of the low capacity of the ride. But I'll agree it's worth it, hands down one of the most intense and mind blowing coaster experiences out there! Sure it's a little rough, but it's such an amazing unique thrill, I'll deal with a little roughness for the one-of-a-kind verticle somersaulting 21 story first drop and non-stop sensory overload!

They only run one side. It is very slow and jerky now its not a fast smooth exceleration like when it was new. I used to love this ride but now I can do without.

umm...i go to magic mountain all the time cause i have a pass, and now when i start going, im never gonna go on X for a long time, that ride hurts like a bitch. i hate X, they should do something to it...cause its definetly not worth waiting 3 hours in line for (especially if you have been on it before...)

but anyways, rumors say that they are going to put a new ride in the park.

they already tore out the oriental garden on samurai summit, and the ride should go all along the side of the mountain, and parts of the ride will go around the rapids crossing area. they havent comfirmed if it will be a roller coaster, but if it is a roller coaster rumors say that it might be a B&M Flyer or a StrataCoaster(which i doubt after all the stuff thats been happening with Kingda Ka)

if you want to know more about the new ride at magic mountain, go to www.screamscape.com and go to the news and rumors page and scroll down to wherever it says magic mountain and click on the links.
