There's a new train in the roundhouse. This poor little fella has been around the block too... built in 1927... it was used at Kentucky coal mines. In 1980 it moved to Marriott's Great America (now owned by Cedar Fair), in 1991 it was sold to a private collector. Then in 1997 it was traded to Walt Disney World and named the Ward Kimball.
The poor little thing couldn't haul a loaded train up the Tomorrowland grade to Main Street Station. So it was basically traded again to Cedar Point for the "Maud L" which was sent to California and is now operating at Disneyland as the Ward Kimball. So now both "Ward Kimball" engines are in California just a few miles from each other. Interesting, eh? Can't wait to see this one out and about!!
CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN???????
