    LegoLand Fun Vegas Style

Here are a few pics from our LegoLand trip earlier this week.

Aquazone, Vegas under construction, and the splash bucket at Pirate Shores.

    Enjoy!

Haha! Las Vegas strip meets Legos. I love it. Thanks PirateMickey.

    Looks awesome!
That might just get me to go there
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I need to go there! That looked pretty cool! My kids would love the water thing.

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

I love LegoLand - there's SO much detail that people just don't notice.
I just wish they didn't take out the rock band

Can hardly wait for the Vegas site to be completed. As much as I dislike Legoland, it might be worth another trip down to that part of the state.

    Here are a few more...

My daughter's Lego boat broke down, so she had to be "towed-in".
    Splashdown!
    NY Skyline.
LL's version of the Tea Cups.

    Enjoy!

WHOA! Not a fan of the new bright green floor for the splash area.... YUCK! It was a darker shade of green before - better for picture taking:

Not nearly so overpowering of a focal point as it is now.

Great, no more 15 freeway to Vegas, now I can just take the train for an hour.

Thanks for the pics! I had no idea that Pirate Shores had that big water area. Thanks for the warning...we're going in 2 weeks! I've done a lot of planning, huh?!

Is there enough stuff for adults to do to justify the price? I really want to go now But it's fairly expensive, for Legos and a few rides?

It's mostly a little kid place, but we went to the one in Denmark before we had Pixie Kid and had a good time.

As an adult, you'll find that one day will probably be enough to tide you over for a while.

Most of your time will probably be spent in Mini-Land enjoying the many sights to be seen.

You certainly can also enjoy quite a few of the rides.

We still enjoy the place, and to prove it, we have two lifetime passes. We've had them since they first opened.

Our oldest son, who is almost 16, is starting to want to do something else, but I think it might be due to his peers more than anything else. He still has a smile on his face while he is on the rides (the ones that he can fit on anyway...). hehe

    Try it, you'll like it!!!
